It's not uncommon for companies to make changes to their executive lineup, and it's impossible to know the exact reasoning behind Bud Light's decision to fire their marketing executive. However, there's no denying that companies are becoming more aware of social justice issues and are taking action to address them. This includes marketing campaigns that are more inclusive and reflect diverse communities. While some may argue that companies "going woke" is a bad business move, there are many examples of brands benefitting from these efforts and appealing to a wider audience. Ultimately, it's up to each company to make the decision that's best for their brand and their customers, and Mark Cuban's assertion that companies are actively targeting Bud Light because of their social justice efforts may or may not be accurate.
