Absolutely! It's evident that there are more sensible options for protecting oneself and their home than semiautomatic weapons. AR-15s, on the other hand, seem to be specifically designed for one purpose: inflicting harm on people. The fact that they have been used in numerous mass shootings to take innocent lives is deeply troubling. I couldn't agree more! It's clear that semiautomatic weapons like AR-15s serve no practical purpose for self-defense or home protection. There are plenty of other firearms available that can fulfill those needs without the excessive firepower.
