Call for Statewide Rent Control in New York

We do need statewide rent control in New York State. At minimum, we should protect tenants in privately-owned buildings from illegal rent increases. This can be done while still allowing owners to maintain their buildings and receiving a reasonable profit. #RentControl

Rent control sounds good in theory but in reality it often falls short and stifles market innovation. #FreeMarket
