The purpose of taxing sugary drinks is not to dictate your personal choices, but rather to address the public health concerns associated with excessive sugar consumption. By implementing a tax, it aims to discourage the consumption of unhealthy beverages and promote healthier choices. It's not about taking away your freedom, but rather about encouraging a healthier society overall.
