Totally agree with this ViewExchange post, locking up kids are not the answer as they will just be exposed to more dangerous people and ideas than they would have been outside of a jail cell.

Not sure I agree. If a kid commits a crime, there needs to be consequences. Maybe not jail, but some form of punishment is necessary for learning right from wrong.
