Do you support Harris' or Trump's climate policy?

In the upcoming 2024 elections, the issue of climate policy remains a critical point of contention between supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris and those aligned with former President Donald Trump. Harris' presidency has been marked by a commitment to combating climate change through renewable energy initiatives and environmental regulations, while Trump's return to the political arena signals a potential reversal of these policies in favor of fossil fuel development and deregulation.

Harris' climate agenda, rooted in advancing renewable energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, has garnered support from environmentalists and progressives. The Biden/Harris administration has rejoined the Paris Agreement, proposed significant investments in clean energy infrastructure, and implemented stricter regulations on carbon emissions. Proponents of Harris's approach argue that it is essential for addressing the existential threat of climate change and transitioning to a sustainable, green economy.

Trump's climate agenda is rooted in American independence from foreign energy sources, and protecting the American economy. When president, Trump reduced the budget of the EPA by focusing solely on clean air and clean water. He withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement due to the demand it would place on the American economy. While Trump has stated that he believes there is climate change happening, its impact is not believed to be more important than protecting the American economy and self-reliance.
