The general elections for the next senator of the state of Indiana will take place on November 8, 2022. Citizens will cast their votes and determine the future of the state and country. The Democratic majority in the senate can be flipped by a rise in successful Republican candidates. The distress among the masses over the policies of the Biden administration can increase the support of the Republican candidates. 

In the state of Indiana, Democrat Thomas McDermott and Republican Todd Young are running for the office. Republican Todd Young would make a better representative to the Senate for the following reasons. First of all, his experience as an attorney, his service in the Senate and house, and his experience as a part of many committees, including foreign relations, finance, and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Agriculture, education, and healthcare have provided him with an outlet to show his political skills. 

He successfully highlighted all the issues in the respective sectors during his previous campaign in 2016, which have worsened under the current Democratic government. 

Young is a son of Indiana. Growing up, he did all kinds of odd jobs. He connects to the people of the state on a much personal level. He has always taken a stand against injustices and crimes. His work on drug and human trafficking is a testament to this fact. Young has brought the Fairness for American Families Act for the people of Indiana. During his service, he has sponsored, or cosponsored nearly 76 bills, including being the lead cosponsor of the Endless Frontier Act to hold China accountable. All these efforts of Young are a preview of the magnificent era into which he will lead the state of Indiana. There is no better choice than him for the current situation of our state.
