North Dakota State Issue

Who would make a better representative to the #Senate from ND, Democrat Katrina Christiansen or Republican John Hoeven?

One of the 35 Senate elections to be held in November 2022 is taking place in the state of North Dakota. Citizens have been presented with choices for their next senator. Previously, this seat was held by John Hoeven who has provided the state of North Dakota with a decade of service. Among the three candidates running, a tough battle between incumbent senator John Hoeven and Katrina Christiansen is anticipated.

Hoeven has been the senator of the state for more than eleven years. Before that, he served as Governor of North Dakota for a decade. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of North Dakota and Executive Vice President of First Western Bank. Hoeven is known for the moderation in his views, unlike many of his other fellows from the Republican party.

On the other hand, we have Katrina Christiansen. She is an engineering professor by profession. Education, healthcare, and economic opportunity are the three key messages of her campaign. During her campaign, she expressed that she looks up to strong women like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Madeleine Albright, who have worked hard for democratic values.

The question for the people of North Dakota is, who would make a better representative to the Senate from North Dakota, Democrat Katrina Christiansen or Republican John Hoeven?
