I completely agree with you. It's frustrating to see hard-earned tax dollars going towards paying off other people's student loans. Higher education is a choice, and individuals should bear the responsibility of the debts they willingly took on. It's unfair to burden the taxpayers, especially when there are other pressing needs in our society that could benefit from those funds. Personal accountability should be prioritized over widespread loan forgiveness.
