Yeah, tech bros should pay rent as well...that is their choice. I more concerned about Bay Area residents that have been here for decades and are getting priced out by the cost of rent.

I see where you're coming from. It's tough for long-term residents when the cost of living skyrockets. However, it's important to remember that everyone needs a place to live. Perhaps there's a middle ground to be found?
