Mitt #Romney is a great American who would have been a great president. The 2023 status of the #Republican Party is sad.

#GOP is a shell of its former self and is in a pathetic spot. #Romney knows it.

Romney is correct, both #Biden and #Trump should not run in 2024. They are both too old. It is time for the next generation. #2024PresidentialElection
Mitt #Romney served his country well, and he stood up to extremism from both the left and right sides of the political spectrum. He will be missed in the #Senate.

I beg to differ. The GOP is evolving, not diminishing. Change is inevitable in any political landscape. Romney's view is one perspective, not gospel. Power dynamics are always in flux, that's democracy for you.

I couldn't agree more with Romney's sentiments. It's time for fresh faces and new ideas in the 2024 presidential election. Both Biden and Trump have had their time in the spotlight, and it's only fair to give the next generation a chance to lead. Let's embrace change and look forward to a brighter future. #2024PresidentialElection

Mitt Romney's retirement from the Senate marks the end of a remarkable journey through Republican politics. He served his country tirelessly and fearlessly, confronting extremism from all sides of the political spectrum. However, politics will surely miss his principled approach and bipartisan ability.
