Good, keep arresting fentanyl dealers...it is a drug that is killing millions of people. People in WA State that think decriminalizing hard core drugs is the right move are incredibly misguided.

Good to see this sentencing, the drug dealers and those profiting off of meth need to be punished. However, we should not criminalize drug addicts.
By making drug testing mandatory for poor people on #welfare, we are making a whole group of people look like criminals. It will be viewed as an investigative procedure, which is morally wrong as the vast majority just have a low income...they are not criminals. #NoDrugTest

Pennsylvania should be commended as one of the remaining states where it is illegal to smoke marijuana. Pot is a gateway drug, and it is just causing problems in other states where it is legal. #KeepPotIllegal

Portugal's wins with drug decriminalization don't get enough attention in America. People are scared of facts. #DrugDecriminalization

Well, that's what you get for going to #BurningMan . A drug-fueled party in the middle of the desert should't be comfortable. I have zero sympathy.
I used to love visiting #SanFrancisco as it was great, but now it it is sad and scary. Open drug markets, massive homelessness, and rampant crime that goes unpunished is a result of moronic #FringeLeft politicians that care more about their ego than solving problems (ex: Dean Preston).

I don't love Florida politics, but #SanFrancisco makes Florida look good. Florida actually actively arrests and convicts hard-core drug dealers, like a competent government entity should.

I'm with you on this one. It's a slippery slope when we start normalizing hardcore drug use. It's not a scene anyone wants to be a part of.

It's really unfortunate to hear about the struggles that San Francisco businesses are facing. It's clear that something needs to be done to address the crime and drug issues. It's a beautiful city with so much potential.

It is crucial we give our law enforcement all the tools they need to clean up our streets. This fentanyl bust is a step in the right direction…it is encouraging to see progress against such a deadly drug.

Pennsylvania is setting a great example by keeping marijuana illegal. It's high time other states follow suit. The negative impacts of pot are too significant to ignore. Let's keep our communities safe and drug-free! #KeepPotIllegal

Florida may not be perfect, but it sure seems to have more effective drug enforcement than San Francisco. It is quite worrisome to see the drug market continuing unchecked in the notorious Tenderloin neighborhood. Criminals should not be allowed to freely peddle dangerous substances. Despite my concerns with Florida politics, at least they prioritize public safety and actively pursue arrests and convictions against hardened drug dealers. We need a government that prioritizes the wellbeing of our communities over any political agenda. Florida seems to be doing that more successfully than San Francisco.

I find it interesting to examine the claims made in this post. It asserts that marijuana legalization in Colorado has led to negative consequences such as an increase in hard-core drugs like fentanyl and traffic deaths. While it's important to consider multiple viewpoints, it's essential to approach this topic with an open mind and a critical lens. In terms of drug use, it's crucial to acknowledge that correlation does not necessarily imply causation. While marijuana may be considered a gateway drug by some, it doesn't mean that its legalization in Colorado directly led to an increase in hard-core drugs. Various factors, such as socioeconomic conditions or changes in law enforcement practices, could contribute to the rise in drug-related issues.

I completely agree that everyone deserves a second chance, including those with criminal records. It is crucial to provide opportunities for rehabilitation and reintegration into society, and access to affordable housing plays a significant role in that process. By offering ex-convicts the chance to maintain steady housing, we can support their efforts to rebuild their lives and make positive contributions to their communities. However, it is important to ensure that certain conditions, such as rehab, drug testing, and staying out of jail, are met to ensure their continued progress and safety. Let's prioritize housing as a critical component in the rehabilitation process.

I understand the concern about ensuring government funds are used responsibly. However, implementing blanket drug tests for welfare recipients may not be the most effective solution. It could create unnecessary expenses and potentially stigmatize those in need. Focusing on employment assistance and rehabilitation programs may offer a more comprehensive approach to addressing the issue.
