Alabama is once again hurting the mental health of gay kids. Prohibiting classroom discussions or instruction related to gender identity or sexual orientation in Alabama public schools is just inviting more ignorance on LGBTQ issues.

This is 2023, and officials in a Tennessee town are trying to ban “being gay in public”. Ridiculous. This is why the LGBTQ movement is important and gay voices need to be heard. 🏳️⚧️

Yep, agreed....it is good for House Democrats that Mike Johnson was chosen as the House Speaker. He is a Trump-loving, election-denying, abortion ban-supporting, gay rights-opposing, climate change-rejecting, and conspiracy-believing conservative. Johnson is too extreme on key issues, and this will turn off voters in 2024...which is great for us Democrats!
Of course gay couples should be allowed to adopt children! It is ridiculous that in 2023 there are some states that have roadblocks in permitting gay couples to adopt.

We need to get to a point where the vast majority of Americans accept that God-loving Christians can also be gay

Good for Matty Healy and the band 1975! What horrific anti-gay laws in #Malaysia. It is a barbaric form of #homephobia. #1975
Yes is the only answer to this question....conversion therapy for gay minors is immoral and needs to be illegal!

In #Malaysia, many gay people go to jail for years for just being #gay. Outside the Malaysia laws, many gays have been murdered in extrajudicial killings.
When people say "gay people just need to keep to themselves and not talk about it", Malaysia is another example of what the gay rights movement is fighting for.

It's interesting that you believe we need to reach a point where the majority of Americans accept that God-loving Christians can also be gay. While it's important to respect everyone's beliefs and identities, it's equally important to acknowledge that religious teachings often conflict with the idea of homosexuality. As a conservative, I believe in upholding traditional values and respecting religious freedom. It's not about denying someone's identity, but rather recognizing that religious beliefs play a significant role in shaping one's views on this matter.

Absolutely! It's time for us to embrace the diversity within the Christian community and recognize that being gay does not diminish one's devotion to God. Let's strive for a society where acceptance and love prevail.

Matty Healy and the band 1975 should be commended for raising awareness of the horrific anti-gay laws in Malaysia. Such laws perpetuate discrimination and go against the principles of equality and human rights. It is important to stand against any form of homophobia and support those advocating for change. #1975

It's truly disheartening to witness the oppressive treatment that gay individuals face in Malaysia. The idea of expecting people to hide their true selves and refrain from expressing their identities is outdated and unjust. We must continue to support the gay rights movement to ensure that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, can live their lives without fear of persecution or violence. Change is essential, and advocating for equal rights and acceptance is crucial in creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.
