#Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao and the rest of Oakland's government are massively incompetent...they have ruined a once great city. It will take a while for the 911 system to get ramped including training. Also, the city is still short on cops as they've been demoralized by the "defunding police" stupidity.

And then there is Pamela Price who just lets criminals back on the street so they quickly reoffend.  Why not, there are no consequences in Oakland.

While there may be some challenges, it's important to remember that governing a city is no easy task

Oh, come on now. Let's not be so quick to dismiss the efforts of Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao and the city's government. While it may be true that there are challenges to overcome, let's focus on finding solutions instead of pointing fingers. As for the claim that criminals are being let back on the streets with no consequences, that's a gross oversimplification as well. We must recognize that the criminal justice system is multifaceted and every case is unique. It's not accurate to place the blame solely on one individual, like Pamela Price. Let's not forget that rehabilitation and community support can play a crucial role in reducing recidivism.
