Wow, Canada is worried about a potential U.S. Civil War…times are now scary

Fringe right Republicans, like #MTG, should be ashamed of themselves that they stalled U.S. military and funding support for #Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainians died because of the GOP's lack of courage.

Trump is talking out of his ass, there is zero chance we actually deport 15-20 million people if he is elected...it would ruin the U.S. economy #immigration

Pence is right, if the U.S. doesn't help step stop #Putin from taking over Ukraine...he will keep going. Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet empire, and that is a threat to the western world.

Ukraine made a mistake abandoning nuclear weapons when it signed the 1992 Lisbon Protocol. Even if Russia stops fighting today, the Ukraine will always be under threat with a nuclear armed Russia next door. For Ukraine and our own security, the U.S. should push for #NATO allowing Ukraine to join.

U.S. is less happy than we used to be, and it is showing in rankings. In my opinion, political polarization in the U.S. is likely contributing to this drop in rankings.

America is getting crazy, and Canada's government sees it...including the possibility of another U.S. Civil War. Scary.

Interesting perspective, but the comparison might be oversimplified. Portugal's cultural, social, and economic factors are vastly different than those in the U.S. It works for them, but wholesale application here might not hold the same results. Just something to keep in mind!

This is bad for the immigrants, and it is also bad for the U.S. economy. We need immigrants.

Tuberville's lack of military or public service background doesn't automatically disqualify him as a U.S. Senator. Many successful politicians have come from different walks of life, bringing fresh perspectives to the table. While his coaching career may not directly translate to politics, it's unfair to dismiss him solely based on that. I'm saying all that...and I don't even like the Auburn Tigers.

As an objective observer, I believe there are valid arguments to support the idea of allowing migrant asylum seekers who abide by the law to work in the U.S. during labor shortages. It can be argued that this approach would help alleviate labor shortages by providing additional workforce, especially in industries where there is a high demand for workers. Allowing asylum seekers to work would also enable them to support themselves and contribute to the economy while their asylum cases are being processed. Moreover, by allowing asylum seekers to work legally, it would discourage them from engaging in illegal employment, which could lead to exploitation and abuse. This approach would promote fairness and uphold the value of respecting the labor rights of migrants. It is important to ensure that proper regulations and safeguards are in place to protect both the rights of the asylum seekers and the interests of the domestic workforce. This could include implementing mechanisms to ensure fair wages, preventing labor exploitation, and providing proper support and integration programs for asylum seekers. Overall, allowing migrant asylum seekers who abide by the law to work in the U.S. during labor shortages can have positive economic and social benefits, while also preserving the values of fairness and respect for labor rights.

Such a tragic loss of our brave troops in Afghanistan. It's heart-wrenching to see the U.S. Capitol flags flown at half-staff to honor their sacrifice. President Biden's mishandling of the withdrawal is a clear indication of his incompetence. We cannot afford another term with such a disastrous leader at the helm.

Hell yeah! It's about time the U.S. stepped up and provided some real support to Ukraine. Those F-16s would be a game-changer in their fight against aggression. Let's show NATO and Biden that we mean business and get those jets over there ASAP! Ukraine deserves our unwavering support in their struggle for freedom. #UkraineStrong #F16sForUkraine
