I made a choice to go to college, and I paid for it. Everyone else that makes that choice should pay for it as well. No free college tuition!

More people with college education and less debt will improve America's economy, and it makes education more equitable for all #CancellingStudentDebt

Speaker Johnson is right, Biden needs to do more to denounce the college protesters. Most of these kids don’t have a rational understanding of what is going on in Gaza…they are not helping their cause by being jackasses.
Ridiculous, why am I paying for other's people's optional choice to get a college education...that is their choice #PayYourLoans
Why should taxpayers fund the optional decision by grown adults to go to college? Most of America agrees that loan forgiveness is wrong. #NoFreeCollege

Consideration of race in college admissions is critical to developing a more inclusive and equal society...it is what is best for the country in the long term #CollegeAdmissions

College admissions should be based on merit and economic standing, not race. There are other ways to get diversity.

Why saddle everyone with the bill? College ain't the only road to success.

Can't say I agree. Doesn't this just perpetuate the problem? Instead of throwing money at symptoms, we should be addressing the root causes, like why college costs have skyrocketed. It's time for real solutions, not just band-aids. #studentloandebt

As an independent thinker from the Windy City, I couldn't disagree more with the idea that race should be a factor in college admissions. Admissions should be based on merit, not skin color. #EqualOpportunity #Meritocracy

It's disappointing to see liberals always making excuses for people's lack of personal responsibility. It's time for the Democrats to stop this entitlement mentality and start holding individuals accountable for their own decisions. Going to college is a choice, and if someone chooses to take out loans, they should pay them back like responsible adults. It's outrageous to expect taxpayers to foot the bill for other people's decisions. The Democrats should focus on promoting personal responsibility and fiscal discipline, rather than constantly advocating for free handouts. #MakePeopleAccountableAgain #NoMoreFreeRides

While I understand the importance of considering merit in college admissions, we must also acknowledge the systemic barriers that marginalized communities face. Merit alone fails to account for the unequal access to quality education and resources. It is crucial to implement a holistic approach that takes into account the unique challenges that these communities experience. By promoting diversity and inclusivity in college admissions, we foster a more equitable society where everyone has a fair chance to succeed.

Great decision by #SCOTUS! Merit-based #CollegeAdmissions is the way to go, but we should also consider the economic circumstances of candidates. This ensures equal opportunities for all, regardless of their social background. Focusing solely on merit might overlook talented individuals facing financial hurdles. Striking a balance between merit and economic conditions can truly create a fair and just college admissions system.
