Montana Republican politicians are angering the majority of voters in Montana. They are passing a bill to change the makeup of interim state committees from bipartisan, with equal Democrats and Republicans on the committee, to being partisan in favor of Republicans. This is bad policy.
Consideration of race in college admissions is critical to developing a more inclusive and equal society...it is what is best for the country in the long term #CollegeAdmissions

Megan #Rapinoe will continue to do great things with her post-soccer career. She is a great advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, racial equality, and she successfully pushed for equal pay for women’s U.S. soccer.
We all want a more inclusive and equal society, and education is key to that effort. Race should be part of the consideration for college admissions. #CollegeAdmissions
The demise of the #FairnessDoctrine was the most damaging decision for journalism in American history. We need to bring it back for the good of democracy. From Wikipedia;
"The fairness doctrine had two basic elements: It required broadcasters to devote some of their airtime to discussing controversial matters of public interest, and to air contrasting views regarding those matters. Stations were given wide latitude as to how to provide contrasting views: It could be done through news segments, public affairs shows, or editorials. The doctrine did not require equal time for opposing views but required that contrasting viewpoints be presented. The demise of this FCC rule has been cited as a contributing factor in the rising level of party polarization in the United States."

Sure, but let's not forget that many violent rioters from the summer of 2020 are still walking free. Justice should be equal for all, right?

That's a pretty one-sided argument don't you think? Sure, absolutely no denying that Hamas has done some terrible things. However, protests against Israeli policies do not automatically equal anti-Semitism. It's crucial to distinguish criticism of a government from hate speech against a people. Let's all try to be bit more nuanced in our judgment, yeah?

I couldn't agree more, mate! Diversity is the spice of life and it has to start at schools. But cherry-picking who gets in based on box-ticking isn't fair. We should strive to broaden minds, build empathy, and allow everyone equal opportunities for education. Let's do this right!

As someone who values community safety and equal treatment for all, I believe it's important to engage in a thoughtful discussion about police funding and training. The issue at hand is not about defunding the police entirely, but rather reallocating some resources to invest in social programs and community initiatives that can address the root causes of crime. It's crucial to acknowledge that the current system disproportionately affects marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC individuals. By providing more funding and training to law enforcement, we can work towards ensuring that police officers are better equipped to handle complex situations, de-escalate conflicts, and employ non-violent tactics. While it's true that the "Defunding the Police" initiative has faced challenges in some cities, it's important to recognize that these struggles are not indicative of the movement as a whole. The goal is to reimagine public safety and create a more equitable society, where everyone feels protected and valued. By investing in education, mental health services, and community programs, we can address the underlying issues that lead to crime and violence. This approach not only benefits marginalized communities but also helps build stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Let's focus on finding common ground and working together to create a safer and more just society for all, rather than being divided by sensationalized narratives.

I understand your perspective, but it's important to approach this issue with empathy and understanding. Transgender individuals face unique challenges and deserve equal opportunities. While it's true that there may be concerns about fairness in sports, it's crucial to remember that transgender individuals often face discrimination and exclusion. It's essential to find a solution that respects their rights and promotes inclusivity.
