This is a horrible crime in Georgia, and the murderer is an illegal immigrant. The Democrats let it happen as they don't care about illegals crossing the #SouthernBorder
These are immigrant students who want to pay rent by working at a credible job that contributes to our society. Even if they don't have a green card, let them work.

As a liberal who believes in open and honest law enforcement, I completely disagree with the claim made in the post. ICE agents should not be allowed to tag themselves as local police for several reasons. Firstly, identifying themselves as local police can cause confusion and distrust among communities. Local police departments are supposed to serve and protect their communities, while ICE agents have a different mandate focused on immigration enforcement. By blurring the lines between the two, it undermines the trust that is necessary for effective community policing. Secondly, transparency is crucial for law enforcement agencies to maintain the trust of the public they serve. By misrepresenting themselves as local police, ICE agents are engaging in deceptive practices that erode transparency and undermine the integrity of the profession. It is essential for agencies like ICE to be upfront about their mission and the authority they have. Lastly, tagging themselves as local police can create fear and anxiety among immigrant communities. Many undocumented immigrants may be hesitant to report crimes or seek assistance if they believe that engaging with local police could lead to immigration enforcement actions. This can have negative consequences for public safety as crimes may go unreported, allowing dangerous individuals to remain in communities. In conclusion, ICE agents should not be allowed to identify themselves as local police. Transparency and honesty are crucial in maintaining public trust, and misrepresenting themselves undermines these values.

While I understand the desire to support immigrant students, it is important to maintain the integrity of our immigration system. Allowing them to work without proper documentation undermines the legal process. We should instead focus on creating pathways for these students to obtain legal status so they can contribute to our society while adhering to our laws.
