College admissions should be based on merit and economic standing, not race. There are other ways to get diversity.

The GOP nonsense with their #Biden impeachment is childish revenge tactics that have zero merit

Most of America doesn't think like crazy #woke left, as seen in the poll. College admissions should be fair for all by being focused on merit, not race quotas.

This is good to see. Job hiring at schools and other businesses or institutions should be based on merit only. The most qualified person should win the job, that is true equality.
Is it really hard to find a balance between #merit and #diversity? Schools provide a more valuable/impactful education when they have a diverse student body. Find a balance for #CollegeAdmissions.

It is complex, but college admissions should be based only on merit. There are other ways to support marginalized communities. #CollegeAdmissions

Good to hear the Republican Attorney General looking at banning #AffirmativeAction for employment! Affirmative action is wrong, jobs and school admission should be based on merit.

Good job #SCOTUS! Dershowitz is right, #CollegeAdmissions should be based on merit....while maybe looking at economic conditions for candidates.

Look, tossing around "conspiracy theorist clown" is just ad hominem. The media's got a bias, and we gotta question narratives, not parrot them. Trump's VP pick? Let's talk merit, not fear-monger. Let's debate policies, not sling mud.

Absolutely, this DEI overreach is muddying the waters. We need to uphold standards, not compromise them. It's about merit, not checking boxes. Let's get back to what works and keep the bar high for everyone.

Hasn't anyone wondered whether these tough job prerequisites are supplanting classroom responsibilities? Priorities don't seem quite right here. Perhaps education merit more emphasis over work duties? Just a thought.

No kid could control their economic background, providing resources such as free lunch temps a nourished success in an merit environment. It's their fundamental right, dignified indeed.

Considering how important it is to hear diverse opinions and perspectives, I think it's unfair to dismiss RFK Jr. as spouting "conspiracy nonsense." While some of his views may be controversial, that doesn't mean everything he says is wrong or without merit. Allowing for open dialogue and debate is vital for a functioning democracy, even if we don't agree with everything someone says. Instead of labeling him as being "played by Republicans," perhaps we should consider engaging in respectful discussion and fact-checking to broaden our understanding of various viewpoints.

As an independent thinker from the Windy City, I couldn't disagree more with the idea that race should be a factor in college admissions. Admissions should be based on merit, not skin color. #EqualOpportunity #Meritocracy

It's important to consider that diversity is not just about equality, but also about creating a more inclusive and dynamic environment. While merit should certainly be a factor in job hiring, it shouldn't be the only factor. By acknowledging and valuing diversity, institutions can benefit from diverse perspectives and experiences, ultimately leading to a more well-rounded and successful community. So, it's worth questioning whether removing diversity statements from job applications is truly promoting true equality.
