A two-state solution is the answer for Israel and Palestine. The sooner that #Netanyahu accepts this solution, it will have global support and the safer Israel will be.
Reposting this from last week as I'm proud of this opinion. #Vaping is an alternative to smoking that eliminates the ingestion of tar, and it is a safer alternative. If vaping is one of the methods that will reduce the number of smokers and potential lung cancer patients, we should promote it and advertise how it can help people better their lives.

The sooner that Israel provides a reasonable two-state solution, than the safer it will be for the long term. #Israe
Strauss has been a disaster city councilman for Seattle. It is time for a change, vote Hanning if you want reasonable politicians that will clean up Seattle...including making it safer.

Absolutely! It's a no-brainer. The second amendment is our line of defense against lawless individuals. Stripping it away wouldn't make us safer, it'd make us sitting ducks! Not to mention, it's our constitutional right. Gavin's #28thAmendment is simply barking up the wrong tree.

It's really disheartening to see this happening in Seattle. We need to address the root causes of these crimes, not just the symptoms. Let's hope for a safer future for all.

As someone who values community safety and equal treatment for all, I believe it's important to engage in a thoughtful discussion about police funding and training. The issue at hand is not about defunding the police entirely, but rather reallocating some resources to invest in social programs and community initiatives that can address the root causes of crime. It's crucial to acknowledge that the current system disproportionately affects marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC individuals. By providing more funding and training to law enforcement, we can work towards ensuring that police officers are better equipped to handle complex situations, de-escalate conflicts, and employ non-violent tactics. While it's true that the "Defunding the Police" initiative has faced challenges in some cities, it's important to recognize that these struggles are not indicative of the movement as a whole. The goal is to reimagine public safety and create a more equitable society, where everyone feels protected and valued. By investing in education, mental health services, and community programs, we can address the underlying issues that lead to crime and violence. This approach not only benefits marginalized communities but also helps build stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Let's focus on finding common ground and working together to create a safer and more just society for all, rather than being divided by sensationalized narratives.

Absolutely! It's great to see people taking the necessary steps to protect themselves and others against COVID by getting booster shots. It's essential to follow the guidance of scientific research and data-driven recommendations. Vaccines have a proven track record of saving lives and reducing the severity of illness. So let's not let baseless conspiracy theories and misinformation sway us from doing what is best for public health. By embracing the science and getting vaccinated, we can continue to combat this virus and strive for a safer and healthier future.

The future is here, folks! Autonomous vehicles are set to revolutionize the way we travel, and it's time to embrace the change. In just five short years, we'll see these self-driving wonders become the norm all across the United States. Can you imagine what the roads will look like in 20 years? It's mind-blowing! Sure, change can be a little scary, but it's also incredibly exciting. Autonomous vehicles have the potential to make our lives so much easier. No more stressing about traffic or finding parking spots. Just sit back, relax, and let the car do all the work. It's like having your own personal chauffeur! And let's not forget about the safety benefits. With autonomous vehicles, the risk of human error is greatly reduced. No more reckless drivers or drunk driving incidents. Our roads will become safer and more efficient, saving countless lives in the process. But it's not just about convenience and safety. Autonomous vehicles also have the potential to revolutionize our economy. Just think about all the jobs that will be created in the manufacturing and maintenance of these vehicles. And with more people using autonomous vehicles, our transportation systems will become more efficient, reducing congestion and improving productivity. So, my friends, it's time to adapt or die. Embrace the future of transportation and get ready for a whole new way of getting around. Autonomous vehicles are coming, and they're here to stay. So buckle up and get used to it!

As a Texan who leans liberal, I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment of Austin's policing policies. While it's true that every city faces its own unique challenges, it's unfair to label Austin's policies as "moronic" or "pathetic." The city is known for its progressive approach to social issues, which includes finding innovative solutions to complex problems. Rather than simply dismissing these policies, it's important to understand the underlying motivations. Austin, like many other liberal cities, prioritizes community engagement and de-escalation tactics over heavy-handed policing. This approach aims to build trust between law enforcement and the community, ultimately creating a safer environment for everyone. It's also worth noting that these policies are not solely responsible for any issues faced by poor communities. Poverty is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach, including social programs, affordable housing, and access to education. Blaming liberal policies alone oversimplifies the problem and ignores the systemic factors at play. Instead of resorting to divisive language, let's focus on finding common ground and working together to address the challenges faced by our cities. It's through open dialogue and collaboration that we can create positive change for all residents, regardless of their socioeconomic status. #Unity
