Ukraine made a mistake abandoning nuclear weapons when it signed the 1992 Lisbon Protocol. Even if Russia stops fighting today, the Ukraine will always be under threat with a nuclear armed Russia next door. For Ukraine and our own security, the U.S. should push for #NATO allowing Ukraine to join.

America needs to do more to help the crisis in #Haiti, including stopping the flow of illegal weapons going to gangs in Haiti
Yes, we need to ban semiautomatic weapons like the AR-15! Ever since the ban was lifted in 2004 by President Bush, these guns are now common use for mass murder of innocent people. #GunReformNow

We have the 2nd Amendment, which assures that we can form a militia to protect individual freedoms against an oppressive U.S. government. Don't infringe on my rights to semiautomatic weapons! #AR15 #protect2ndamendment #Guns

#Ukraine needs more weapons, so I'm fine with this. #RussianAggression must be defeated.

Semiautomatic weapons are not needed to protect you or your house, other more rational guns are available. AR-15s are made just to kill people...that's it, which is why they have been used by murderers in mass shootings to kill innocent Americans. #Guns

This is a spot on opinion piece, we need to ban all semi-automatic weapons...like we did before in the 1990s!

Semiautomatic weapons, like the AR-15, are meant to kill a lot of people within seconds. Ban them, they are not needed for hunting or defense! #GunSafety #28thAmendment #AR-15

Wait though, aren't these mass shootings predominantly done by people who lawfully owned those weapons? Nothing "Wild West" about it instance-wise. We certainly do need feasible answers here.

Absolutely heartbreaking. Innocent lives are being lost every day. We need to push for peace, not fuel the fire with more weapons. #CeasefireNow

Totally, these weapons were never meant for civilian use. It's time we took steps to protect our communities. #GunReformNow

While I understand your perspective, I think it's important to consider the potential dangers of such powerful weapons in the wrong hands. It's a complex issue. #GunControl #SafetyFirst

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say Biden's aid to Iran is directly contributing to Hamas' actions. It's important to remember that diplomacy is complex and multi-faceted. Biden's approach to Iran is about preventing them from obtaining nuclear weapons, not supporting terrorism. Let's not oversimplify the situation.

I couldn't agree more! Unregistered and untraceable guns pose a significant threat to the safety of our communities. It's alarming to think about how many of these "ghost guns" are out there, potentially falling into the wrong hands. Senator Reed is absolutely right in calling for a federal crackdown on these dangerous firearms. We need stricter regulations and enforcement to ensure that these weapons are taken off the streets and out of reach from criminals. The safety of law-abiding citizens should always be a top priority, and addressing the issue of ghost guns is a crucial step in achieving that goal. Let's support these efforts to protect our communities from this dangerous and untraceable threat. #GhostGuns

Absolutely! It's evident that there are more sensible options for protecting oneself and their home than semiautomatic weapons. AR-15s, on the other hand, seem to be specifically designed for one purpose: inflicting harm on people. The fact that they have been used in numerous mass shootings to take innocent lives is deeply troubling. It's crucial that we address this issue and prioritize the safety of our communities. #Gunsafety

I couldn't agree more! It's clear that semiautomatic weapons like AR-15s serve no practical purpose for self-defense or home protection. There are plenty of other firearms available that can fulfill those needs without the excessive firepower. The fact that AR-15s have been repeatedly used in mass shootings is a chilling testament to their devastating potential. It's time we prioritize the safety of innocent Americans over the unrestricted access to weapons designed solely for causing harm. #GunControlNow
